OCTC 2nd Annual Girls Empowerment Trail Blazer Dinner

Owensboro, KY (02/28/2019) — Owensboro Community & Technical College (OCTC) will host the 2nd Annual Girls Empowerment Trail Blazer Dinner on Thursday, March 7, at 5:30 p.m. in OCTC's Industry Innovation Center, featuring Nikki Epilon-Bryant. Eplion-Bryant will share her story and the challenges she faced while fighting to become the #1 Female Super Middleweight Boxer in the world!
After retiring from boxing, Eplion-Bryant went on to earn a Master of Arts degree in Education from Morehead State University. We invite people of all ages, but in particular young women to hear her inspirational story about persistence and blazing her own trail.
Mike Rodgers, Director of the OCTC Foundation and OCTC's Chief Institutional Officer added, "This event is proving to be extremely popular and we are excited to host Nikki and have her share her story. Seating is limited so I would encourage anyone interested to reserve a spot today!"
