Pathfinder Day, Friday, Jan. 5, 10 AM-12 N

Owensboro, KY (01/02/2024) — Owensboro Community & Technical College (OCTC) is open for registration this Saturday, January 6, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the main campus in the Campus Center. Many students will be able to apply and register on the same day. The Financial Aid Office, Accessibility Services, and the OCTC Bookstore will also be open during these hours. Classes begin on Monday, January 8.

Dr. Ashleigh Crowe, Vice President of Student Affairs, commented, "It really isn't too late to get started this semester. Our faculty and staff are here and ready to help students through the process."

Registration will remain open through Wednesday, January 10. Interested students may also apply online by visiting www.owensboro.kctcs.edu and selecting "APPLY" or drop by the main campus at 4800 New Hartford Road, Owensboro, and visit the START Center located in the upper level of the Campus Center. The START Center office hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

OCTC is hosting Pathfinder Day on Friday, January 5 for all new and returning students to learn about resources available on campus.

"This is the first time we have offered a Pathfinder Day in the spring so we hope our students will take advantage of this opportunity to learn their way around campus and get to meet some of their peers" added Crowe.

The event begins with check-in at 9:30 a.m. in the Advanced Technology Center. Students can find their class locations, visit a resource fair, and get a student ID.
