OCTC Surgical Technology Program Hosting Pre-Admission Conferences

Owensboro, KY (02/13/2020) — Owensboro Community & Technical College (OCTC) has an excellent, two-year, Associate in Applied Science degree Surgical Technology program. OCTC program graduates have earned a 100% first time pass rate for 6 consecutive years on the national certification licensure exam. These pre-admission conferences are designed to give prospective students an overview of the program and encourage hands-on demonstrations to simulate the lab experience.
This selective admissions program is hosting preadmission conferences for the Fall 2020 semester at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, February 28; at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4; and at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15. All sessions will be held in the Surg Tech lab (SCI 100) located in the Science Building on OCTC's Main Campus at 4800 New Hartford Road, Owensboro, Kentucky 42303.
Upon completion of the program, students are eligible to take the national professional certification licensure exam administered by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). The program has a limited number of seats available each year.
