Allen Bradley PLC Basics: RS Logix Training Offered
Owensboro, KY (04/08/2021) — Owensboro Community and Technical College is offering an innovative Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) training course beginning May 14. In just four weeks, participants will learn basic PLC programming through weekly virtual live instructor-led sessions and virtual lab sessions. In addition, participants will program CompactLogix hardware remotely from their location to actual PLCs.
OCTC's Allen Bradley PLC Basics: RS Logix training course will meet virtually on four Friday mornings from 7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. (CST)/8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. (EST) from May 14 through June 4. This engaging training provides cutting-edge manufacturing skills for those with or without previous PLC experience. Instructor Tyler Ashton, former Level III Maintenance Supervisor Technician for Amazon, will teach participants the theory and application of the Allen-Bradley ControlLogix system using RSLogix software for CompactLogix controllers.
The cost is only $750 per person and includes all software and materials needed for the course. For group registrations, up to 50% of costs may be covered for eligible Kentucky companies through KCTCS TRAINS funding. Space is limited, so sign up today!
