OCTC Foundation Hosting 3rd Annual Empowerment Dinner March 5

Owensboro, KY (02/28/2020) — Owensboro Community & Technical College (OCTC) will host the 3rd Annual Girls Empowerment Trail Blazer Dinner on Thursday, March 5, at 5:30 p.m. in OCTC's Blandford Lecture Hall, featuring Catrina Kidd. Kidd is host of the DIY Networks series "Texas Flip N Move". She is also well known for her contributions to the Gas Monkey Bar & Grill, a well-known Texas restaurant. She also helped build the Yucatan Taco Stand concept where she still serves as a vice president. Kidd will share her story and take questions from the audience.

Mike Rodgers, Director of the OCTC Foundation and OCTC's Chief Institutional Officer added, "This event is proving to be extremely popular and we are excited to host Catrina Kidd and have her share her story. Seating is limited so I would encourage anyone interested to reserve a spot today!"

This free event will take place on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. at OCTC's Blandford Lecture Hall, located in the Humanities building on OCTC's Main Campus at 4800 New Hartford Road.
