OCTC Hosting Drive Thru Events

Fri., Aug 7 from 1-5 p.m. and Sat., Aug. 8 from 9 a.m. - 12 noon

Owensboro, KY (08/04/2020) — Owensboro Community & Technical College (OCTC) is hosting a Drive-Thru Registration event on Friday, August 7 from 1 p.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday, August 8, from 9 a.m.-12 noon. Interested students should visit OCTC's Main Campus at 4800 New Hartford Road and enter campus using the Veach Road entrance. Then you will be directed to the drive thru location and assisted by the admissions team.

OCTC fall classes will begin as scheduled on August 17, 2020. Healthy At OCTC plans are in place to ensure that students and employees will be safe and healthy. Classes are available in-person, online, or hybrid-a combination of both in-person and online.

Classes with face-to-face meetings will find that OCTC campuses look and feel different with the new Healthy At OCTC protocols. For example, face coverings are required, access is limited, and designated entry and exit points control flow to minimize incidental contact. In addition, new sanitizing protocols, daily healthy check-ins, and physical distancing are mandatory.

If you are interested but are not able to attend the OCTC Drive Thru event, please visit owensboro.kctcs.edu, visit the START Center on the Main Campus, call 270-686-4522, or email octc.startcenter@kctcs.edu for an appointment. OCTC is here to help you and we will adapt to this new "real world" together.
