OCTC Hosting Open House

Owensboro, KY (02/24/2022) — Owensboro Community & Technical College (OCTC) is hosting an open house highlighting programs for interested students and their families on Monday, February 28 from 5:30 - 7 p.m.

This event will include tours, demonstrations, program overviews, and faculty on hand to answer questions. Programs will include Automotive Technology, Computerized Manufacturing & Machining, Computer & Information Technologies, Criminal Justice, CDL, Construction, Early College, Engineering, Electrical Technology, GO FAME, HVAC, Industrial Maintenance, Medical Assisting, Nursing (RN), Nurse Aide, Plumbing, Phlebotomy, Radiography, Surgical Technology, Veterinary Technology, Welding, and Associate in Arts, Science, and Fine Arts transfer options.

Staff will be on hand to assist with admissions, dual credit, financial aid, accessibility, career counseling, TRiO, diversity, experiential learning, and additional supports available for students. Check in at the Advanced Technology Center on OCTC's Main Campus located at 4800 New Hartford Road, Owensboro, to get started.

In addition, the Veterinary Technology hospital/lab will be open for tours at OCTC's Downtown Campus, located at 1501 Frederica Street, Owensboro. Please use the back parking lot off of Daviess Street for entry.
