OCTC Nursing Program Deadline for Applications
Deadline for Spring Applications - October 15, 2022
Owensboro, KY (09/26/2022) — Owensboro Community & Technical College's (OCTC) Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program is currently accepting applications for students that will begin the program in January 2023. The ADN program prepares graduates to sit for the NCLEX-RN examination enabling the graduate to become a Registered Nurse (RN). The deadline for applications is October 15, 2022 and approximately 50 students will be chosen for the next class, based on a selective admissions process.
Nursing is one of the most essential careers in our region. If you are interested in helping people and are adept at science, nursing is a great option. Nursing offers countless employment opportunities in a variety of healthcare settings.
For students who are Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and are interested in pursuing an ADN, OCTC offers the LPN to ADN program option. OCTC's ADN program is accredited by the National League of Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA), and is approved by the Kentucky Board of Nursing (KBN).
