Owensboro Community & Technical College (OCTC) will offer a condensed four week winter session due to the popularity of the initial offering in 2019. This term will begin on December 14 and run through January 10. The session will include online courses in a condensed format including, Accounting with Al Wallace; Principles of Marketing with Michael Boyd; Introduction to Art with David Wilson; Introduction to Biology with Dr. Micah Perkins; Basic Anatomy/Physiology with lab and Basic Anatomy/Physiology Lab (paired courses) and Human Anatomy and Physiology/Human A7P w/ with Lab (paired courses) with Dr. Veena Sallan; Introduction to Computers with Stacy Bertke; Basic Public Speaking with Dr. Jacob Bryant; Introduction to Interpersonal Communication with Chelsea Fancher; and History of Women in America with Dr. Angela Ash. This is a great opportunity for students to get ahead, catch up, or lighten their course load for future semesters.

Registration is open now and will continue through December 14. New students can sign up in person at the START Center, located in the upper level of the Campus Center, on the Main Campus at 4800 New Hartford Road, open M-Th 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. For a virtual or scheduled appointment new students may email octc.startcenter@kctcs.edu, or call 270-686-4522.
