OCTC's Cornerstone Hosts The Anatomy and Physiology of the Crucifixion

Owensboro, KY (04/16/2019) — Owensboro Community & Technical College's Cornerstone Campus Ministry student group is hosting a presentation entitled, The Anatomy and Physiology of the Crucifixion on Wednesday, April 17 at 11 a.m. in the Chandler Conference Center, located in the Advanced Technology Center on the main campus at 4800 New Hartford Road, Owensboro. The program was developed by Dr. Eddie Leach, program coordinator for Veterinary Technology and examines the act of crucifixion from a scientific perspective. Dr. Leach also teaches Anatomy and Physiology and has a particular interest in studying the crucifixion due to his personal faith. While crucifixion is thought of as an old practice; it is still used in other countries. This is the second annual event hosted by OCTC's Cornerstone Campus Ministry and the event is free and open to the community. This event is Merit approved for OCTC students.
