Owensboro, KY (04/29/2026) — Owensboro Community & Technical College (OCTC) is proud to recognize Caroline Connor as this year's Larry Hager Award recipient through Rotary.
Connor, an Early College student, will graduate in May from Hancock County High School while simultaneously earning her Associate in Science degree from OCTC. She plans to attend Murray State University this fall to pursue a degree in Pre-Veterinary Science.
During her time at OCTC, Connor has been an active participant in the Hager Scholars Program. At Hancock County High School, she serves as FFA President and is involved in both the Quiz Bowl and volleyball teams.
Connor also demonstrates a strong commitment to her community. She currently works at Wills Animal Hospital and volunteers her time at local festivals, church events, and through FFA and school initiatives.
With a clear passion for animal care, Connor looks forward to a future working with animals-and spending time with her horse, Jasper.
