OCTC Surgical Technology Program Hosting E-Session for Interested Students

Owensboro, KY (04/09/2020) — Owensboro Community & Technical College (OCTC) is extending the deadlines to apply for the Associate in Applied Science degree Surgical Technology program. OCTC program graduates have earned a 100% first time pass rate for 6 consecutive years on the national certification licensure exam. Pre-admission conferences are designed to give prospective students an overview of the program and will be hosted remotely due to restrictions in place for the COVID-19 crisis. The e-session will be held on Wednesday, April 15 from 12:30-2 p.m. Please email program coordinator, Zara Basham at zara.basham@kctcs.edu for a link to the meeting.
Upon completion of this selective admissions program, students are eligible to take the national professional certification licensure exam administered by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). The program has a limited number of seats available each year.
