Owensboro, KY (11/06/2018) — Owensboro Community & Technical College will host a donor celebration event on Thursday, November 8, 2018 beginning at 4 p.m. in the Industry Innovation Center. Remarks will begin at 4:30 p.m.

The event is held to honor the more than 295 businesses, industries, groups, and individuals that have supported the college and the OCTC Foundation, Inc. through donations, grants and scholarships during the 2018 Academic Year.

Dr. Scott Williams, OCTC President commented, "All gifts to OCTC are not only critical to our success, but are greatly appreciated. The gift of an education, be it through a scholarship, or an equipment donation, is truly the gift that keeps on giving."

"The partnerships with our donors continue to drive student success, supports a better way of life for our students, and creates a qualified workforce for our community businesses and industry. For that impact, we are truly grateful", added Mike Rodgers, OCTC's Chief Institutional Officer and Director of the OCTC Foundation, Inc.
