3 weeks to a CNA career

Owensboro, KY (06/17/2025) — Owensboro Community & Technical College (OCTC) is excited to announce a fast-track Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program running from July 7 to July 23, 2025. This unique opportunity offers participants the chance to gain hands-on experience in HealthForce Kentucky's state-of-the-art mobile training unit, preparing them for a rewarding career in healthcare.

The program is ideal for:

  • Long-term care facility staff
  • Students preparing for nursing programs
  • Individuals looking to launch a healthcare career

Class Schedule:

  • Week1: Monday, July 7 - Wednesday, July 9, 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
  • Week 2: Monday, July 14 - Wednesday, July 16, 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
  • Week 3 (Clinicals): Monday, July 21 and Tuesday, July 22, 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
  • State license exam: July 29
