Owensboro Community & Technical College (OCTC) is proud to present "Memoirs, Whispers, & Daydreams," a solo exhibition of drawings by regional multimedia artist Joseph Jesse Ovalle. The exhibit will be on view from through October 3, 2025, at the Dayman Art Gallery, located on the upper level of the Learning Resource Center.
Ovalle's work explores the emotional and symbolic resonance of landscapes across the Midwest. Through intricate mark making, design, and pattern, he reflects on themes of love, loss, climate change, adventure, and healing. Each drawing is a journey-an introspective exploration of memory, observation, and imagination. The landscapes he portrays are not only visual records but also emotional and environmental witnesses to change.
