OCTC and Yager Hosting Career Fairs for Multi-Craft Technicians

Owensboro, KY (09/01/2020) — OCTC and Yager Hosting Career Fairs for Multi-Craft Technicians

Yager Marine and Yager Materials are partnering with Owensboro Community and Technical College's Workforce Solutions division to host a career fair for prospective new hires interested in a career in an industrial setting on Thursday, September 10, 2020. Two identical 2-hour informational sessions will be held at OCTC's Downtown Campus at 1501 Frederica Street, Owensboro.

Interested students may select the 9:30 a.m. or 3 p.m. session, space is limited, masks and physical distancing protocols will be implemented, and students will be required to complete a healthy check-in prior to the session.

Yager recruiters will be on hand to share information about employment and the fast track training partnership with OCTC. Multi-Craft Technicians are trained for entry level manufacturing positions, learning hands on skills in welding, forklift operations, and safety protocols in an industrial setting.

The event is open to the public, interested individuals should make a reservation to secure a spot in their preferred session time.
