OCTC/Cargill Motus Wildlife Tracking System - Student Symposium

Owensboro, KY (04/04/2025) — Owensboro Community & Technical College (OCTC) invites the community to the OCTC/Cargill Motus Wildlife Tracking System - Student Symposium on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Industry Innovation Center Lobby at the OCTC Main Campus located at 4800 New Hartford Road.

This event celebrates OCTC's recent installation of a Motus Wildlife Tracking Station, a significant step in joining one of the largest conservation initiatives in the world. The Motus Wildlife Tracking System is a global research network that uses radio telemetry to track the movements of birds, bats, and insects, providing critical data for conservation and ecological studies.
