OCTC Chorus Beginning Rehearsals for Spring Concert

Owensboro, KY (01/09/2019) — The Owensboro Community and Technical College Chorus, known for its performance of fine choral literature, will begin rehearsals in preparation for a spring concert scheduled for May 6, 2019. The rehersals will begin on Monday, January 28 at 7 p.m. in H-130 of the Humanities Building at 4800 New Hartford Road, Owensboro.

The OCTC Chorus is open to interested singers looking for a vibrant and challenging choral experience. This community chorus was organized over thirty years ago in the spring of 1987 and continues under the direction of Dr. Connie Ford, Professor of Music and its collaborative pianist, piano instructor Angela Bruce.

The chorus consists of community members, college students and faculty, and area high school age students, the chorus has performed with the Owensboro Symphony and in various venues in the Owensboro area. The chorus rehearses on Monday evenings at 7 p.m. Interested singers may contact Ford at 270-686-4629 or by email at connie.ford@kctcs.edu.
