OCTC Chorus presents holiday concert

Owensboro, KY (11/21/2022) — The Owensboro Community and Technical College Chorus (OCTC), under the direction of Dr. Connie Ford, Professor of Music, and accompanied by pianist Ann Jeannette Pierce, will perform a Christmas concert at First Christian Church on Monday, December 5, at 7 p.m. Featured composers of the 20th and 21st century programmed works, which cover a wide variety of styles, include Robert Cohen, Robert Batastini, Eric William Barnum, Zebulon Highben, Herbert Howells, John Gardner, Leo Nestor, and John Rutter. The thirty-eight-voice chorus, comprised of community members and college students, has presented fall and spring concerts since the spring of 1987.
Scheduled performers include: Robbin Baughn, Tracey Bivens-Helm, Angela Bruce, Mike Bruce, Linda Burgess, Denise Bushong, Beverly Chelgren, Kirby Chelgren, Janet Corum, Jeanette Ebelhar, Janet Estes, Melinda Francis, Rachael Gasser, Mary Goodman, Cindy Goodrid, Maurice Hanley, Rick Houston, Mary Youngmann, Sam Koon, Carroll Laswell, Leah McDivitt, Bob Meacham, Vicki Meacham, Collin Montgomery, Shannon Muffett, Tristen Muffett, Mary Rummage, Scott Salyer, Christie Stumpf, Sr. Sharon Sullivan, Mike Tichenor, Chris Tolliver, Tony Sparks, Wendy Wells, Alice Welsh, Jim Wilhoyte, Sarah Worth, and Virginia Zoglman.
