OCTC Community Chorus Performing Christmas Concert

Owensboro, KY (11/20/2018) — The Owensboro Community and Technical College Chorus, under the direction of Dr. Connie Ford, Professor of Music, and accompanied by pianist Angela Bruce, will perform a Christmas concert at First Christian Church, 700 J.R. Miller Boulevard, Owensboro on Monday, Dec. 3 at 7:30 p.m.
Featured composers of the 20th and 21st century programmed works, which feature a variety of styles, include Mark Sirett, Shawn Kirchner, John Rutter, Howard Helvey, César Carrillo, Donald Patriquin, and Kim Arnesen. The forty-voice chorus, comprised of community members and college students, has presented fall and spring concerts continually since the spring of 1987.
Members performing include: Sopranos-Robbin Baughn, Jeanette Ebelhar, Rhonda Hoffmann, Mary Jungmann, Mary Lou Kapfhammer, Sheila Kyle-Reno, Carroll Laswell, Leah-Marie McDivitt, Dianne McFarling, Jo Nelson, Debra Sims, Betty Sivis, Clarissa Smith, Janet Tichenor, Alice Welsh and Virginia Zoglman. Altos-Cindy Bornander, Linda Burgess, Beverly Chelgren, Donna Clark, Megan Crawford, Janet Estes, Marjorie Flowers, Mary Goodman, Vicki Meacham, Mary Rummage, Christie Stumpf, Sr. Sharon Sullivan, and Wendy Wells.Tenors-Chris Freels, Rick Houston, Robert Meacham, Mike Tichenor, and Chris Tolliver. Basses-Mike Bruce, Kirby Chelgren, Matthew Constant, Sam Koon, and Jim Wilhoyte.
