OCTC December Commencement Ceremony

Owensboro, KY (12/12/2023) — Owensboro Community & Technical College (OCTC) will hold its commencement Ceremony at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at the RiverPark Center, located at 101 Daviess Street in Owensboro. The College will award 854 credentials to 473 graduates during the event.
"We are expecting twice as many graduates as we had last December. It will be a great event," added Dr. Scott Williams, OCTC president.
Charles Hughes, an Electrical Technology program candidate for graduation, will deliver the student address. The special music will feature An Irish Blessing written by Dr. Randy Runyon performed by the OCTC Chorus Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Connie Ford, Professor of Music, and accompanied by Chris Tolliver.
Graduates are invited to participate in a rehearsal held at 3:30 p.m. in the RiverPark Center on Wednesday, December 13.
