OCTC December Commencement Cermony

Owensboro, KY (12/07/2022) — Owensboro Community & Technical College (OCTC) will hold its Commencement Ceremonies at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at the RiverPark Center, located at 101 Daviess Street in Owensboro. The college will award 879 credentials to 378 graduates at the event. The student address will be delivered by Ella Daley Fogle and special music will be provided by Sentimental Journey made up of OCTC's Danny Huffman on drums, Dr. Micah Perkins on bass, Dr. Connie Ford on flute; it also features Ann Jeannette Pierce on piano, Janet Corum as the vocalist, and Jeremy Huffman on saxophone.
The program includes recognition of faculty-nominated outstanding students.
"We are looking forward to celebrating this year in a more traditional manner," added Dr. Scott Williams, OCTC president.
Graduates are invited to participate in a rehearsal held at 3:30 p.m. in the RiverPark Center on Wednesday, December 14. OCTC's Commencement Ceremonies are free and open to the public. For more information, please contact Bernie.Hale@kctcs.edu.
