OCTC Healthcare Career & Program Fairs

Owensboro, KY (06/02/2021) — Owensboro Community & Technical College (OCTC) will continue their summer series of Career & Program Fairs for current and prospective students. The June events will welcome all community members exploring career paths in the healthcare sector.

The fairs will feature employers and educational/training opportunities related to Nursing, Surgical Technology, Veterinary Technology, Radiography, Medical Assisting, Medical Information Technology, Phlebotomy, and Pharmacy Technician.

The events will be held on June 3, 2021, from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., and June 17, 2021, from 4 - 6 p.m., on OCTC's Main Campus at 4800 New Hartford Road.

Employers and OCTC faculty and staff will be on hand to help answer questions related to specific programs as well as provide information regarding admissions, financial aid, and community resources offered through OCTC.

Featured employers and community resources include the Kentucky Career Center, Owensboro Health Regional Hospital, Kentuckiana Animal Hospital, Premise Health, Signature Healthcare, and others. Participants will have the opportunity to speak with potential employers about open positions and future career opportunities.

All Healthy at OCTC protocols will be in place during the fairs including social distancing. The events will be held outside, weather permitting, but will be moved inside to the Industry Innovation Center, if necessary.
