OCTC Hosting "Come As You Are" Event

Owensboro, KY (02/13/2019) — OCTC's Counseling Center will host an information session for students called "Come As You Are" on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 11 a.m. The session will feature local speakers in recovery from food addiction and is held in conjunction with National Eating Disorder week. The sessions are part of a Healthy You, Healthy Campus series and will be held in the Chandler Conference Center (ATC 107) located in the Advanced Technology Center, on OCTC's Main Campus at 4800 New Hartford Road. The events are free and open to the public.

"It's important to try and reach students who may be struggling with an eating disorder, but it is also vital to bring awareness and understanding to our campuses about these issues" commented Dr. Scott Williams, OCTC President.
