OCTC Hosting Express Enrollment Tuesdays

Owensboro, KY (11/11/2024) — Owensboro Community & Technical College offers students a one-stop enrollment opportunity on Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through December 10. These one-stop events are designed for busy adult learners who are juggling job and family responsibilities. The college will have staff to help with one-on-one advising regarding enrollment, financial aid, scheduling, and other items prospective students must complete for the spring semester. The goal is to make the enrollment process as simple and fast as possible.
Express Enrollment Tuesdays: November 12, November 19, December 3, and December 10.
"We know many students are anxious about college, so we want to relieve that anxiety and try to make the process as easy as possible," said Dr. Scott Williams, OCTC President.
OCTC will host Express Enrollment at the main campus, located at 4800 New Hartford Road, in the Campus Center. Anyone interested in applying and enrolling for the spring semester can walk in or schedule a personal appointment by calling 270-686-4418 or email octc.STARTCenter@kctcs.edu.
"While we are making a collaborative effort for Express Enrollment days, we want to encourage anyone interested in enrolling at OCTC to contact or visit the START Center any time Monday through Friday 8AM to 4:30PM at their convenience," said Dr. Ashleigh Crowe, OCTC Vice President of Student Affairs. "For those interested in aid, you can apply online at https://studentaid.gov/ or bring a copy of 2023 tax returns, and we will have staff to help guide you through the process."
