OCTC Offers Express Enrollment Tuesdays

June 2 Through August 4

by Bernie Hale

Owensboro, KY (05/26/2026) — Owensboro Community & Technical College (OCTC) is making it easier for students to enroll for fall classes with Express Enrollment Tuesdays, offered weekly through August 4 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Designed with busy adult learners in mind, these one-stop enrollment events provide personalized assistance with admissions, advising, financial aid, class scheduling, and other enrollment steps - all in one visit.

"We know starting college can feel overwhelming, especially for students balancing work and family responsibilities," said Dr. Scott Williams, OCTC President. "Our goal is to make the process simple, supportive, and stress-free."

Express Enrollment will take place at OCTC's main campus, located at 4800 New Hartford Road in the Campus Center. Prospective students may walk in or schedule an in-person, phone, or virtual appointment by calling 270-686-4522 or emailing octc.STARTCenter@kctcs.edu.

"While these dedicated enrollment days provide additional support, students are welcome to visit the START Center any day or schedule an appointment at their convenience," said Dr. Ashleigh Crowe, OCTC Vice President of Student Affairs. "Students interested in financial aid can complete the FAFSA online at studentaid.gov or bring a copy of their 2024 tax returns, and our staff will help guide them through the process."

Fall classes are almost here-start your journey at OCTC by connecting with enrollment assistance available all summer to help you get registered and ready for day one.
