OCTC's Hager Scholars Present Research Poster at WKCTC
Owensboro, KY (11/19/2018) — Owensboro Community & Technical College's Professor David Martin accompanied four Hager Scholars to West Kentucky and Community College (WKCTC) on Friday, November 16, 2018. The students presented a research poster to four other teams from WKCTC and some representative faculty. The OCTC Early College students pictured are (l to r) Kaylee Meador, Brooklyn Knight, Kaylee Meador, Halley Stewart and Patrick Edge. Martin added, "The OCTC team handled themselves very professionally and fielded questions about their research completely and accurately. They represented OCTC and themselves very well." While the event was not a competition, it instilled professionalism in the students and gave them a group presentation experience.
