Attended a presentation by Dr. Bashar Mourad on the Syrian Conflict. Dr. Mourad was raised in Damascus, Syria and is a graduate of Damascus University Medical School. He came to the United States to train in internal medicine in 1989 and moved to Owensboro in 2001. On the Main Campus, November 17, 2015.

Completed Sigi3, a career exploration program that helps students create a plan that's right for them based on the latest career information. Attended the Cornerstone Campus Ministry event, A Talk on Depression, featuring James Edwards and Dr. Joe Yazvac, OCTC Counselor. October 22, 2015 on the Main Campus.

Attended a presentation by Dr. Marko Dumancic, Assistant Professor of Political Science at Western Kentucky University, at WKU-Owensboro's Badgett Conference Center on October 21 at 7:00 pm. Dr. Dumancic has published articles on Soviet cultural history and post-communism in former Yugoslavia. He is currently completing a book on the cultural revolution in the USSR in the 1960s.
