Campus Cornerstone Ministries Author Event

Students attended the University of Louisville Owensboro BSN info session where they met with faculty and current nursing students, learned about nursing program requirements, the admissions process, scholarships, and clinical experiences.

Members of TRiO Student Support Services visited the University of Louisville where they met with a transfer counselor before completing a walking tour of the campus. Students then visited the Ohio State Park and Intrepretive Center.

In an effort to bridge the gap between education and the workforce, students recently toured TTMA. The tour provided students with firsthand exposure to real-world work environments, current technologies, and career pathways in their field of study.

Students attended a Career Services workshop that introduced them to tools that will assist them in building their personal brand and elevator pitch for career networking. Personal Branding shows others who you are, what you're good at, and what makes you stand out. It's the way you tell your story so employers and professionals remember you for your strengths, skills, and goals.

Students participated in a dynamic Team Problem Solving workshop that challenged them to leverage their critical problem solving skills in a team environment. Students worked with a cross section of differing perspectives to overcome barriers to communication and coorperation. Career Services personnel guided the groups and shared strategies for success to maximize effectiveness.
